Creating new screens

When you select New Screen then the following window appears. You can select a template — a file you can use as a starting point for your screen.

How can I create my own templates for Editor?

  • Create a screen file that you would like to use as a template.
  • It is best if any image, sound or video files used by the screen are located in the same folder as the screen file.
  • Copy the screen file and any supporting image, sound and video files to the Templates folder, or into a folder within the Templates folder.

How can I create my own templates for SimpleSet?

  • Create a screen file in Editor that you would like to use as a template. Look at the way Text Areas, Buttons, Fields and Menus are named — these names are important because SimpleSet uses them to match Text Areas to other elements.
  • It is best if any image, sound or video files used by the screen are located in the same folder as the screen file.
  • Copy the screen file and any supporting image, sound and video files to the TemplatesSimple folder, or into a folder within the TemplatesSimple folder.
