Find and Replace

You can select the Find, as well as the Find and Replace, window from the Edit menu. Find can search all open screens if you wish. The space where you enter the text you wish to find is also a menu which you can use to reenter phrases for which you have previously searched.

When you start a new Find by pressing the Find button (or the Return key on your keyboard) the Find facility makes a list of all of the possible places and screens it can search. Any screens that are not in a Layout state are missed out (i.e. if they are in Rules or Play state).

Warning. Finding and replacing is the most common way of destroying or damaging data in databases and other systems. Please use this feature with care.
